- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and between 3 and 5 years relevant work experience
- Understanding of interpreting mechanical drawings, specification and metrology activities in an engineering/precision manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of various precision tools and instruments, the mechanics and strength of materials, quality standards and their practical application including understanding of main elements of the Quality Management System and its requirements
- Experience in and knowledge of supply chain activities and principles, supplier management, OTD (on time delivery) indicator
- Real time experience in advanced measuring and testing of mechanical and electrical parts and components against set standards and specifications and using precision tools and instruments
- Attention to detail – vigilant to identify variances
- Excellent math skills; documentation; reporting and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication and Analytical Skills
- Work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- The following would be advantageous:
- Working experience in an organization with international exposure
- Civil Aviation Regulations and standards (CATs & CARs)
- Hardware / Software Product Lifecycle development
- MRP Systems
