Responsible for the development and implementation of Environmental Qualification Plans and Test Procedures to ensure compliance of avionics equipment against international standards.
Qualification Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Development of Qualification Plans against international standards
- Alignment of qualification plans across avionic products as well as geographical sites in the organization
- Preparing detailed test procedures for executing environmental testing both in-house and at subcontractors
- Interfacing with system engineers to ensure alignment of category testing with customer expectations
- Interfacing with test group to ensure appropriate test jigs are available for qualification testing
- Environmental testing of products to mature product designs
Job Requirements
- BEng degree in Electronic
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience
- Sound knowledge of qualification testing and environmental standards
- Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160 &/or Mil-Std standards would be advantageous
- Good technical writing experience
